The value of your claim is dependent on your policy with the superfund and can be upwards of several hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our lawyers will review your policy and confirm the exact value of your claim.

Am I eligible to claim TPD insurance?

Eligibility depends on the terms of your insurance policy. Generally speaking, you will be eligible if you are permanently precluded from returning to work for which you are qualified by way of skills, training, and work experience.

How long will my TPD claim take?

Processing times will vary depending on the complexity of your claim, however claims typically take between 3 to 12 months. Delays can occur due to disputes, incomplete documentation or requests for further evidence by the superfund.

What happens if my claim is denied?

If your claim is denied, our lawyers will assess the case and provide advice on the best way to move forward, including requesting reviews, lodging complaints with the Australian Financial Complains Authority (AFCA) and, in some case, commencing proceedings in Court.
